High Country Technologies supports the network management and customer network management needs of our clients.

  • Developed the business case, obtained funding, and managed the development of a LEC’s Customer Network Management gateway platform that provides an electronic link between the LEC’s customers and the company's internal operational support systems (OSS).
  • Developed an for a Customer Network Management system that provides customer access to LEC Service Order, Trouble Reporting and Inventory systems. This system permits customers to enter, modify, cancel, and receive status of their orders directly from their desktop systems.
  • Created a user application that utilized a gateway to provide Trouble Reporting, and on-demand Network Reconfiguration (Digital Cross Connect) services for Inter-Exchange Carriers.
  • Participated in the development of SNMP based Network Management requirements for Switched Multi-megabit Data Services (SMDS) and Frame Relay products.
  • Participated as a member of the Network Management Experts Group working with standards bodies and our client's network planning organization.
  • Contributed major modifications to the T1M1.5 standard for trouble reporting.
  • Reduced staffing requirements and repair intervals through use of these interfaces.
